This Privacy Policy describes how Vitispro, LLC ("we") handles your personal data when you use thedailywines.com.

1. Data we collect

• Account: name, email address, password (stored as an irreversible hash), preferred language and, if you enable them, two-factor authentication data or passkeys.
• Subscription: trial and subscription status, Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, payment method type and last 4 digits. We never store your full card number: payments are processed directly by Stripe.
• Technical use: strictly necessary session cookies (authentication, CSRF security, language). We currently use no advertising cookies or third-party trackers.

2. How we use it

• Providing the Service: authentication, delivery of the daily digest, archive access.
• Charging the subscription and issuing receipts (via Stripe).
• Operational communications: verification, password resets, trial and billing notices.
• Security and abuse prevention.

We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for advertising.

3. Processors and transfers

We share data only with providers required to operate: Stripe (payments), our hosting infrastructure and our email delivery provider. These providers may be located in the United States or other countries; we require adequate protection safeguards.

4. Retention

We keep your data while your account exists. If you delete it, we erase or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except what we must retain for legal, accounting or tax obligations.

5. Your rights

You may access, correct or delete your data, and object to or restrict certain processing. You can update your profile from your account settings or delete your account directly there. For any other request write to [email protected]; we will respond within applicable legal deadlines.

6. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures: encryption in transit (TLS), hashed passwords, optional two-factor authentication and passkeys, and restricted data access.

7. Minors

The Service is aimed at professionals and is not intended for people under 18.

If we materially change this Policy we will communicate it by email or on the site. The last-updated date appears above.
